How it Works
No need to come to the studio; I will come to
you! All consultations/fittings are done via house call
to conform to your schedule.
Around 3-4 fittings are required and included in the flat consultation/fitting fee. Additional fittings come at no extra cost.
It is recommended to have your consultation and first
fitting 2-3 months before your event to ensure that
enough time is allotted to perfect your dress.
After each fitting, I will take your beloved piece to my studio to work on, then bring it back to your next fitting!
I will provide garment bags and hangers for transport back and forth, as well as bring my trusty sewing basket filled with everything needed for pinning, clamping, marking, or any adjustments to be made in person.
Please allot 30-60 minutes of time for each fitting.
What to Expect from Fittings
**2-4 weeks later
Any and all stitching at this
point will be basted, and no fabric
will be cut. This is to ensure that
any alterations can easily be
adjusted or reversed.
This fitting serves to guarantee the look, fit, and feel of your garment before any permanent alterations are made.
Once satisfied, everything will be
taken back to my studio so that I
can complete any adjustments
made and fortify the
basting stitching.
SECOND FITTING
During your initial
fitting, we will consult
about what alterations are
needed to achieve your desired
look and fit, and pricing for
alterations will be calculated and provided.
We will pin the dress so that you can see exactly what will be done and envision the final result. Markings may also be made with washable chalk.
Once satisfied, I will take the garment back to my studio and start sewing!
The consultation/fittings fee is due beforehand at the scheduling of
this appointment.
CONSULTATION/FIRST FITTING
**2-4 weeks later
Your alterations are done! This
fitting is to try on the final
product, and if it is to your liking,
I will leave it with you!
If any minor adjustments are still needed, I will either perform them
on the spot by hand or take the dress back to the studio and return for a fourth and final fitting.
All alterations fees are due at this fitting and must be collected before
the dress is officially returned to
you.
THIRD/FOURTH FITTING
How to Prepare for Fittings

Wear any
undergarments that you will wear on the day of your event.
This includes any bra or shapewear you are planning to wear under the garment.
Wear the shoes that you will wear on the day of your event.
If you haven't found the perfect pair yet, please wear shoes with the same heel height.
Preferably have a
full-length mirror available.
If you do not have one in your home, please let me know.
My Pricing
There is a house call service fee of $250 that is
due at the scheduling of your consultation/first fitting. This
fee is non-refundable and does not include the cost of alterations.
The flat fee covers your initial consult and all fittings at your home and leisure. If more than 4 fittings are required, they will come at no extra charge.
If you are receiving minor alterations that only require
1-2 fittings, the service fee is reduced to $150.
Pricing of alterations varies widely and is
dependent on the alterations required, as well as the intricacy of the materials and work.
Rough estimates of pricing ranges can be provided prior to booking, with more accurate pricing calculated during your consultation.
Certain alterations are priced by the hour (such as delicate lace work), so pricing is subject to slightly deviate from estimate until all alterations are complete.
