Karina for RWT

Solely performed each necessary step of garment creation including designing, sourcing fabric and materials, draping, drafting patterns, cutting, technical production, and fittings and alterations. Design was inspired by David Koma for Beyonce’s 2023 Renaissance World Tour and incorporated the client’s specific requests. Pattern was created fully by hand through draping and the client’s measurements. Corset, skirt, and underlying shorts were covered using a patterned chiffon blend. All stitching was done using a home machine, and over 20 eyelets were covered with hot pink thread by hand. Zip ties were inserted into corset boning channels to create the structured look and feel.

Garment is a fully custom couture piece for personal client Adarni Karina and was worn to Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour in New Orleans.
