Kat for RWT

Solely performed the necessary steps of garment creation including sourcing fabric and materials, draping, drafting patterns, cutting, technical production, and fittings and alterations. Design was directly inspired by Gucci for Beyonce’s 2023 Renaissance World Tour. Pattern was created fully by hand through draping on myself. Layers of heavyweight cotton and black satin were used to create the body suit, with zipties acting as boning. All stitching was done using a home machine, and strips of rhinestones were added by hand sewing or industrial glue, using Gucci’s piece as a reference for the placement.

Garment is a fully custom couture piece for myself and was worn to Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour in New Orleans.
