Pouf Dress/Skirt

Performed all necessary steps of sourcing, pattern making, cutting, draping, and technical construction through the creation of multiple pouf dresses and skirts. Sourced medium/heavyweight tulle and silk taffeta in various colors/patterns for multiple garments. Drafted patterns for outer pieces and inner tulle panels from preconceived design and cut fabric. Created ribbon waistband/neckline through adhering interfacing to silk via steam and attached gathered outer silk taffeta and inner tulle. All seams and stitching done with an industrial machine.

Garments were created as samples for Miss Claire Sullivan’s collection and have been worn by Selena Gomez for Vogue Mexico and Eryn Allen Jane for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
