Princess Skirt

Participated in original draping and pattern-making process. Helped create original sample for fitting from medium weight cotton muslin and tulle. Hand stitched wired bustle undergarment for skirt shape. Sourced robin’s egg blue silk taffeta and lightweight white tulle for the original custom piece and cut panels for skirt train. Constructed skirt train with detachable tulle layer using an industrial machine. Pattern was then copied and used to create a fully white version to be used as a sample.

Garment was created originally as a custom piece for client Yulia Fomenko then copied as a sample for Miss Claire Sullivan’s collection. Sample garment was worn by Troye Sivan for Hommegirls Magazine.
